THE EXECUTIVE ENGINEER(C), BSNL CIVIL DIVISION, Sanchar Bhavan, 1st Floor, Near Gokavaram Bus Stand, RAJAHMUNDRY – 53 3 104 (Phone No.0883 2423300) invites sealed item rate tenders on behalf of BHARAT SANCHAR NIGAM LIMITED for the following works from the approved and eligible contractors of BSNL/DOT/DOP, CPWD, Railways, MES, PWD(B&R) and its allied Departments. The Central/State Government undertakings shall also be eligible to tender under usual terms and conditions applicable to them from time to time.

a) Last date of receipt of application for participation in tender is upto 16.00 Hrs. on the dates mentioned above for each work. (b) Last date of sale of tender documents from the office of the Executive Engineer up to 16.00hrs on the dates and payment of Tender cost mentioned above for each work on every working day (Non-Refundable) per set in the form of DD / Pay Order drawn in favour of ACCOUNTS OFFICER, BSNL CIVIL DIVISION, RAJAHMUNDRY. The Tender document along with application for participation in tender can also be directly downloaded from the web site http://www.ap.bsnl.co.in (c) Tenders from eligible tenderers will be received by the EXECUTIVE ENGINEER, BSNL Civil Division, Rajahmundry upto 15.00 Hrs. and will be opened by him or his authorized representative on the same day at 15.30 Hrs. on the dates mentioned above for each work. (d) The intending tenderers of other than BSNL / DOT Registered contractor should have successfully completed similar works during the last seven years ending last day of the month previous to the one in which application are invited either of following for NIT NO:50 only:- i) Three similar completed works costing not less than the amount equal to Rs: 3,42,666/- (OR) ii) Two similar completed works costing not less than the amount equal to Rs: 4,28,333/- (OR) iii) One similar completed works costing not less than the amount equal to Rs: 6,85,333/- (e) However, Non-BSNL registered contractors will submit their credentials required to establish their eligibility and works experience conditions to the EE (C) before the last date of receipt of application. II. The intending tenders shall submit definite proof of registration certificates and attested copy of PAN Card issued by the Income Tax Department, while applying for participation in tender. (Applications received from a person or firm holding power of attorney on behalf of such registered contractor shall not be accepted). Subject to the above eligibility conditions, tenderers will be allowed to participate for quoting the rates. Contd..P…2…/- (2) III. The Tender shall be submitted in the following manner: i) The filled in application for participation in tender shall be kept in a separate sealed cover with tender Cost mentioned above for each work (non-refundable) in the form of DD/Pay Order issued by the Nationalized or Scheduled Bank drawn in favour of ACCOUNTS OFFICER, BSNL CIVIL DIVISION, RAJAHMUNDRY in case of tenders who are submitting downloaded document. Those who submit the tender document obtained from Division office shall enclosed the acknowledged receipt for cost of tender document. The tenderers submitting the tender in either way shall also keep attested copies of registration and of PAN card in this cover. This cover shall be superscribed as ~APPLICATION~ ii) The EMD in the form of DD/Pay Order issued by Nationalized or Scheduled Bank in favour of ACCOUNTS OFFICER, BSNL CIVIL DIVISION, RAJAHMUNDRY shall be kept in another separate sealed cover superscribed ~EMD~ iii) The filled in Tender document shall be kept in another separate sealed cover superscribed as ~Tender Document~ iv) All these Three separate covers shall be kept in a 4th (Fourth) sealed cover superscribed with the name of work. IV. I) First the sealed cover (mentioned as fourth) containing other three separate sealed covers as mentioned above will be opened. II) Then the sealed cover containing the application and tender cost in the form of DD will be opened. The application will then be scrutinized and if the tenderer is eligible to participate in the tender as per NIT conditions and enclosed the tender cost is in the prescribed form then the EMD cover will be opened. Otherwise the EMD cover and tender cover will not be opened and returned to the tenderer. In any case cost of Tender document will not be refunded. Originals of the credentials shall be produced by the tenderer as and when asked by the Executive Engineer, BSNL Civil Division, Rajahmundry. In case of failure to produce the originals, the tender will not be considered and EMD will be forfeited.
