The Sub Divisional Engineer ( C ) BSNL Civil Sub Division Himatnagar invites sealed Item Rate tender on behalf of BHARAT SANCHAR NIGAM LIMITED (A GOVT. OF INDIA ENTERPRISE) for the following works from the eligible contractors from approved list of BSNL Civil wing eligible for tendering for building works. All the intending tenderers shall also have a valid Service Tax registration number. The Contractors registered in appropriate class of BSNL Civil Wing shall be eligible for issue of tender forms irrespective of the limit of number of works in hand and irrespective of the financial limit of work in hand as per respective rule of Enlistment of contractor in BSNL 2004. |

The Last date of receipt of application for issue of tender forms(in prescribed format / can also be down loaded from BSNL website http://gujarat.bsnl.co.in/tenderwatch.asp ) and date of issue of tender forms will be as follows:
(i) Last date of receipt of application upto 16.00 hrs. on 25-11-2009
(ii) Last date of issue of tender forms 27-11-2009
(iii) In case the tender document is down loaded from the website ,the applicant will submit his credentials required
to establish his eligibility and work experience conditions to the Sub Divisional Engineer ( C ) BSNL Civil Sub Division Himatnagar before the last date of receipt of application as at para(i) above.
(iv) The List of eligible tenderers will be displayed on Website http://gujarat.bsnl.co.in/tenderwatch.asp at 16.00
Hrs. on 26-11-2009 (Only the eligible tenderers, as displayed on Website, shall be permitted to quote
rates.).
(v) Tenders from eligible tenderers will be received by the Sub Divisional Engineer ( C ) BSNL Civil Sub Division Himatnagar upto 15:00 Hrs. on 30-11-2009 and will be opened by him or his authorized representative on the same day at 15:30 Hrs.
II. Tenders will be issued to eligible contractors provided they produce proof of their valid enlistment, Service Tax registration and EPF registration with the appropriate authority.
III. All the intending tenderers other than those enlisted with BSNL Civil Wing should have completed satisfactorily at least (i) Three building works/similar works each costing not less than the amount equal to 40% of the Estimated Cost OR (ii) Two building works/similar works each costing not less than the amount equal to 50% of the Estimated Cost OR (iii) One building work/similar work costing not less than the amount equal to 80% of the Estimated Cost under Central/State Governments/Public Sector Undertaking Departments during last seven years ending last day of month previous to one in which application are invited..
Similar works shall mean the Building/ Tower Foundation / Tower Foundation including Erection / Boundary Wall Works.
IV. The intending tenders shall submit definite proof of registration certificates and list of work of requisite magnitude
Completed along-with copy of certificates/testimonials of their satisfactory completion from the department
Concerned obtained from an officer not below the rank of Executive Engineer-in-charge of the work, while applying for participation of tender in the prescribed format. (Ap plication received from a person or firm holding power of attorney of such registered contractors shall not been accepted)
V. Subject to the above eligibility conditions, tenderers will be allowed to participate for quoting the rates.
VI. The time allowed for specific job order will be mentioned therein. The date of start for job order/work of each station shall be reckoned from the 10th day from the date of respective job order/work. The agreement shall remain valid for a period of 4 Months from date of award of work if not extended by the Engineer-in-charge.
However, in exceptional case, the above time period may be varied for each job order/work depending on the nature of job / urgency of work, as decided by the Engineer-in-charge. The work at some or all places mentioned in the name of work shall have to be carried out simultaneously.
VI. Tender documents with additional conditions/correction slips and schedule of quantities/ other schedules can be
downloaded from Website www.gujarat.bsnl.co.in. The cost of tender (non-refundable) may be
submitted along-with E.M.D. in the same manner as specified in para-VIII below.
VII. Tender documents can also be had from the office of Sub Divisional Engineer ( C ) Sub Division Himatnagar upto 4.00PM on or before 27-11-2009 on every working days on payment of Rs 150/- (non-refundable) per set.
VIII. E.M.D. and cost of tender in depost at call receipt of a scheduled bank/fixed deposit receipt of a schedule bank/demand draft of a scheduled bank issued in a favour of Accounts Officer, O/o. BSNL Civil Division, Mehsana payable at Mehsana will be submitted along with the tender. The Tender and Earnet Money shall be placed in separate sealed envelopes marked Tender and Earnest Money respectively in case the tender document is downloaded from BSNL website the Tender and Earnest money plus cost of tender shall be placed in a separate sealed envelopes marked Tender and Earnest Money plus cost of tender respectively the Tender sealed envelope and earnest money or earnest money plus cost of tender sealed envelope be placed in another sealed envelope with following data written on it. |
